Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 NIV

Truly and truly, seeking revenge upon someone by taking matters into your own hands is not the wisest course of action one should take. Rather, one should trust in the divine justice of God, in his perfect timing of justice being served; and leave all desires for revenge in His capable hands.

Do not hold onto grudges- for they will have a hold on you.

God is the ultimate judge and will ensure that justice is served in His own way. And by relinquishing the need for earthly revenge and entrusting the situation to Him, individuals can find peace and comfort in the idea that justice will be served in due time and in a manner far surpassing their own understanding.

After doing so, one can focus on living a life guided by faith and trust in a greater plan, rather than being consumed by thoughts of retribution and retaliation. Ultimately, placing faith in God’s wisdom and ultimate plans he has for every one of his children.
